Increase chances of Getting Pregnant – Effective Trying to Get Pregnant Tips and Tricks

Unlike the common notion that pregnancy is a breeze as proven by the high number of teenage pregnancies every year, many couples do not actually succeed after the first attempt at conception. Furthermore, the number of couples who are faced with conception problems is numerable with stories abounding the Internet.

If you have been trying for many months to have a baby to no avail, you can try these tips and tricks to increase chances of Getting Pregnant:

1) Mark your date of ovulation by using an ovulation prediction kit and calendar method.

2) Do not practice douching. Aside from decreasing your chances of Getting Pregnant, it can cause health problems such as overgrowth of harmful bacteria and fungi.

3) Take vitamins and minerals. Add herbal supplements to the mix such as ginseng and royal jelly. There are many supplements that can increase chances of Getting Pregnant.
4) Be physically active to keep your hormones at bay and to stay stress-free. However, do not overdo this as it will bring about negative effects instead.

5) Have sexual intercourse every other day; better if you time this to be at least one to two days before ovulation. Have fun when having sex and use positions which will facilitate the deposition of sperm as close to your cervix as possible, such as the missionary and doggie-style positions.

6) After having sex, you can also raise your hips and lie down for a bit to aid the sperm’s travel toward the fallopian tube. It is quite normal to have the semen spill from your vagina, and this does not affect the outcome in any way.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
What are the chances of Getting Pregnant when ovulation is not likely or expected?
My husband and I had unprotected sex 11/22 (i am not on b.c.)… the first day of my last period (which lasted only 3 – 4 days) was 10/28… I am wondering what the chances are that I could be pregnant? Ovulation calendars say that I am not fertile on 11/22… Any thoughts!?!?!? Any similar experiences?

    • ANSWER:
Many people rely on the Rhythm Method as a form of birth control, but they fail to realize that sperm can live 3-5 days inside a woman after sex, so you do not actually have to be ovulating on the day you have sex in order to become pregnant.

  2. QUESTION:
What are the chances..pregnant during ovulation?
What are the chances (statistically) of Getting Pregnant if you have sex while ovulating? I have been off the pill since Feb and still nothing. I know I have ovulated the past few months, cause I have felt it. I guess I should be patient, but i recently lost a baby and am anxious to have another. I have figured out that my cycle is only 24 days and not 28…maybe more regular now..

    • ANSWER:
Your chances of Getting Pregnant while ovulating are high. I know how it feels to lose a baby and i am sorry for your loss. My doctor told me just to take it easy and not want the baby so bad, cause they say if you want it, it wont happen. once i was able to relax and get my mind on other things I ended up pregnant. It is a lot easier to Get Pregnant when you are relaxed about things then anxious, cause that will put your hormones and things out of whack. Hope this helps. Good luck to you!

  4. QUESTION:
What are the chances of Getting Pregnant when ovulation is expected?
Okay, here’s the thing. It was my first time ever and I’m not sure about my menstrual cycle, but if you base it on the average which is 28 days, it says that I was fertile and ovulating on the day of sexual contact. No protection (and please don’t lecture me about this, it’s not part of my question). I just want to know what are the chances of me Getting Pregnant, and is it possible that I may be conceiving already? What’s the shortest time for me to wait until I would know for sure if there’s really another life inside me? Please state as much details as you can. Thanks and much appreciated.

    • ANSWER:
Healthy couples with no fertility issues where the woman is under 35 have about a 25% chance of Getting Pregnant each month. Still, if you’re unsure of your cycle, you need to remember that you don’t know when you ovulate, and that sperm can live in your reproductive tract for up to 5 days if the conditions are ideal (which happens when you’re near ovulation.) If you’re not trying to Get Pregnant, choosing a reliable form of contraception would be smart.

If you know when you ovulated, wait about 14 days after ovulation to take a pregnancy test, or around the time you expect your period. If you’re not sure when you ovulated or when your period is due, wait about 19 days after you last had unprotected sex to take a pregnancy test.

  5. QUESTION:
chances of Getting Pregnant during ovulation?
I got my period on the 18th of Sept. I used a digital ovulation kit and detected I was ovulating on Oct. 3rd. My husband and I have had sex ever since I detected ovulation. I couldn’t sleep at all last night because of lower back pain. What are my chances of Getting Pregnant and how soon would I feel any symptoms?
The ovulation kit came up positive on the 3rd of October.

    • ANSWER:
Your chances of Getting Pregnant are as good as they possibly can be. Having sex right at ovulation ensures fertilization of the egg. It is quite common that fertilization does not lead to a pregnancy, but I still would assume your chances are better than 50%.
Very early pregnancy symptoms are frequently very hard to distinguish from PMS. If you are looking for symptoms like nausea, tender breasts fatigue and headache and so own, you are very likely to find them, because just plain looking for these symptoms can sometimes cause them. You will probably feel better, aka less bothered by early symptoms, if you do not look for them at all and just plain wait for your period.
      Good luck and baby dust!
