Foods To Help You Conceive Or Get Pregnant With A Boy Baby

A lot of attention has recently been given to the correlation between what a pregnant woman eats before conception and the gender of the baby she ends up having. A recent study indicated that women who consume more daily calories (as much as about 2200) and consumed breakfast were more likely to conceive a boy.

Some women who want sons will read this and arbitrarily try to bump up their caloric intake and start making breakfast a priority. While I applaud these efforts, you should know that in a sense this is flying blind, because the acidity of the foods are every bit as important as what you consume and when. I’ll tell you why this is true in this article and will also offer examples of the foods you should be eating (and avoiding) if you’re wanting to conceive a boy.

Why The Foods You Eat Affect Your Chances Of Conceiving A Boy: The theory behind all of this food businesslies withyour body’s acidity. Your vaginal PH actually greatly affects the sperm that will produce a girl or a boy. The Y or boy sperm are very weak and can not survive for very long in a high PH before they begin to weaken and die off. So, if you want a son, you’ll need to lower this PH, which is also known as “alkalizing your body.” You can do this through your diet or through douching.

A Diet High In Sodium And Potassium Are Said To Help When Wanting A Boy Baby: Old wives tales will tell you that you should consume bananas to get a son. There is some validity to this, but there are better options. These myths are based on high sodium / potassium containing foods. Bananas do contain a high amount of potassium, but they are relatively low in sodium. Better choices are apricots, figs, raisins, nuts, All Bran, and baked potatoes with skins.

piece of plastic found in food–pregnant?
i’m almost 9 weeks pregnant and i was munching on my bagel w/cream cheese that i had bought this morning and suddenly realized that i was munching on a piece of plastic. it’s a pretty thick piece of plastic that looks like it came from a wrapper. i’m really annoyed and plan on asking for my $ back. luckily i didn’t swallow it, but now i can’t help from worrying that it was somehow contaminated (maybe it came from the floor–who knows) and now i’ll get sick. is it possible to get sick from a piece of plastic found in food, even though you didn’t ingest it?

I think you will be fine. We all get a bit panicky on the foods that we consume and the feelings we get after we eat them. Don’t worry yourself too much otherwise you could make yourself sick.. congrats on the pregnancy

What r some good home tips for getting pregnant? food? moves? vitamins? anything?
Im going to turn 37 in decemember & I have no children. Im finally in a relationship in which I feel like a child would be a good thing but Im not getting pregnant, I’ve only bin trying for about 1 month but I worry that even though I’ve never bin told that I couldn’t have children, I might be too old. Is there some extras that I can do that might help get me knocked up?

    • ANSWER:
Start taking prenatal vitamins and eat healthy and exercise to start. Try to reduce any stress that you can, and track your ovulation so you know the days that you are actually fertile, which is only about 5 days of the month. And keep in mind that there is only a 20% chance of getting pregnant when an egg is released so don’t stress out if it doesn’t happen right away, stress isn’t good when your ttc. Good luck.

What foods help get pregnant and which don’t?
also is alcohol bad or it doesn’t make a difference (BEFORE getting pregnant) while trying to conceive?

    • ANSWER:
Increase your fiber intake and try to limit animal products and vegetable oils as these foods affect estrogen levels.

Eat several servings of fruit, vegetables, grains such as whole wheat bread, and calcium-rich foods such as yogurt, cheese, and milk every day. Certain vitamins and nutrients such as vitamins C and E, zinc, and folic acid are important for making healthy sperm. Not getting enough nutrients can affect your periods, making it difficult to predict when you ovulate. And you may not ovulate at all if you’ve lost a drastic amount of weight or are obese.

Cut out or only occasionally drink alcohol…
you may also want to cut back on caffeine.
