Ovulation Calculator To Conceive A Boy

How to choose the gender of your baby How to concieve a boy or girl

Today many couples can decide to choose the gender of their baby. Medical gender select 00004000 ion began as a way to eliminate any gender related illnesses that may run in the family. Diseases such as hemophilia and muscular dystrophy have been known to be linked to a certain sex. Who can blame an expectant parent for not wanting to have their child suffer with a life threatening illness?

People in such countries as the United Kingdom, United States, and Australia are all being given the chance to choose the sex of their child. Could gender selection be the cure to human illnesses that afflict only one gender and not the other? If so, it could be a way to avoid having to live a life that is full of suffering and pain.

Many cultures have ways to choose baby gender that are based on the female ovulation cycle. These methods have been around for hundreds of years with varying degrees of success. Diet and herbal concoctions have been recommended for millions of couples who desire a baby boy or girl, so the idea of pre-conception gender selection is certainly not novel.

how likely is it that im pregnant?

Sunday 29th August 2010 – A home pregnancy test may work now.

So anyone with any experience with mireina or know of anyone who is Please help.. I had unprotected sex on everyone of those days and I would really like to know what the Chance that Im pregnant is… My boyfriend and I are trying to conceive and Im really hoping that I am but I need the truth on what the chances are.. I already have a daughter and he was going to be a father at one point.. and now we want to share this bond together… so what do u think?

    • ANSWER:
There is no “truth” of chances since all women are different. It took us 6 months to get pregnant after the Mirena was removed for me. It’s a hit or miss every month and having more sex is actually counterproductive as the sperm needs a chance to regenerate. Every other day gives you more sperm. I also invested in the Clear plan easy fertility monitor and found out I was ovulating a week after my period, so I was missing it every month. Those ovulation predictor calculators are just generalized based on the info you put in. It’s not an exact reading of when you ovulate. I am the perfect example of that since finding out I ovulated much earlier then I thought. Just a thought for you. Just keep having sex every other day after your period and your chances will be high.
  2. QUESTION:
A helpful website and a question on online calculators/calendars! *please read*?
I posed this question in the Trying To Conceive section too (just some people don’t check both Pregnancy and the TTC sections). Now, I’m one of those women that really don’t trust ovulation or period calculators.
But the tools in this one really helps more than any of the others:
www.babymed.comThe period calculator takes FIVE of your last periods (if you can remember, lol) and averages your cycles (and tells you how long each were between periods).

And the ovulation calendar/calculator shows you the whole calendar of your cycle and has labels and suggestions on each day that tells you when to start doing things and your chance for a boy/girl and what should happen on that day.

I don’t trust them completely with my cycle, but it does help me get an idea of where to start instead of having the calculate EVERYTHING myself, which sucks, because my cycles change to any number between 28-32 days.

So, this was mainly a post to help some who are ttc and for my own personal help with your past experiences with them.

My questions are, have you used an online calculator/calendar and conceived?
What one was it? (was it the one I provided?)
How long did it take to conceive?

    • ANSWER:
      I used http://www.askdramy.com/ovulationcalc.html
It gives a play by play of what happens throughout the month.I used it with baby number two, and it took us two months to get pregnant with him.
I also used it with this baby, cause my hubby was in Iraq. He was coming home for a three week R and R. We decided to go on a vacation to Hawaii. I used the website above to make sure when I would be fertile. I gave him some dates, and hoped he was able to get them for R and R. Well…. he was, and you know the rest.
I had a friend of mine use it once, but lost contact with her so I do not know how it went with her.
  3. QUESTION:
Can all you beautiful pregnant ladies and Mommies answer this? (just for fun!)?
Hey there ladies! I just found this ovulation calendar online and I normally don’t believe stuff like this, but just for fun can you look at it and tell me if it was correct for you? I’m just curious and thought it was kind of neat :)Thank you so much!*****PLEASE NOTE***** I didn’t get it the first time I looked at it so I wanted to avoid all confusion: The is month is the month you CONCEIVED, not the month your baby was born.

For example, I am 25. Following this chart, if I got pregnant today, or any day this month I would have a boy since this is December.

Suzy, never even thought about that! Good luck with your twins!!! I have always hoped for that!!!
Sarah–those are the dates you conceived right? Not their birthdays? Just curious if you caught that–I never know the exact day I’m ovulating. :)

    • ANSWER:
It was right for me and for most people I know too. Looks like the majority here say it was right for them too! I think I will try to plan with this chart for our next pregnancy since we really want to have a boy next, lol!!
  4. QUESTION:
    Obsessing Over TTC First Month?
Here is my story. I was on Yasmin Birth Control since I was 15 and in 2007 (I was 27) my first boy was conceived while on the pill. A single pill was never missed and I was anal about making sure they were on time. But my boy was a blessing don’t get me wrong :)Here we are in 2009 and my boy is 23 months old. We have decided to TTC #2 and I stopped the pill last month. So far my periods still seem to be on a 28 day cycle as I started this month on time as if I were still on the pill. According to the calculators I’m due to ovulate somewhere between the 25th-30th. I even bought an ovulation kit!My problem is that I am so excited about TTC again that I feel like I’m obsessing over it. I know that if we try this month and it doesn’t happen I’m going to be so disappointed. Also everyone is planting into our heads.. you get pregnant on the pill before so you shouldn’t have any problems getting pregnant off of the pill but I know that things change, bodies change and it could take more than 1 try.

Anyways I’m writing this to hopefully hear that other people obsess over this as I am. I just want this to happen so bad and it is even more exciting that we are getting to plan for this one and have the whole experience from start to finish.. I know I should sit back and just enjoy it but I can’t stop reading TTC sites and boards.

Thank you for letting me rant :) I can’t wait for next week to come! And the anticipation of being able to see a “pregnant” result on those tests! UGH I just can’t help being excited.
