Things you Need to Know about Safe Period and Pregnancy

The beginning of menstruation marks the transformation of a young lady into womanhood. It is at this time that the body is being prepared for r 00004000 eproduction. The menstrual cycle plays a big part in determining when the woman can Get Pregnant after an intercourse; which is why it is very important for women to be aware of what’s going on in their bodies within their menstrual cycles. It is nature’s way of warning you when is your safe period and pregnancy can be avoided.

Several factors are at play within the woman’s body during the reproductive cycle. If you are practicing or may plan on using the natural method for family planning, it is essential for you to note what your menstrual cycle is. It is imperative that you know which days to avoid or Get Pregnant. The body of a woman has a way of telling her when it is safe to have sexual intercourse without the risk of Getting Pregnant.

A woman’s body shows some signs of its fertility period. One of the signs that show your fertility is through the fluid discharges during your cycles. These bodily fluids will help you determine when your body becomes more sperm friendly giving you now the opportunity or the choice of Getting Pregnant. When your discharges has some resemblance to that of an egg white, then it means you are fertile, and may most likely Get Pregnant. Just to be on the safe side, you may want to use another method of contraception or avoid sexual intercourse on these days when you have this type of discharge. However, this sign would also help those who are planning to have a baby sooner than later. This mucous-like discharge notifies you that you will be ovulating soon. However, there is also another way of determining when your body is ready to ovulate. All you have to do is to check your temperature every morning right before getting out of bed. If your temperature rises to about 0.4 to 0.6 degrees within a period of five days, this means that your body is ready to ovulate. So keep a chart and check your temperature regularly to keep yourself posted on when your ovulation period begins and ends.

Ovulation is within a period of 24 hours. Try to see whether the mucous-like discharge becomes clearer as the ovulation ends. If your period comes regularly, it is easier to track for signs of your safe period and pregnancy is not most likely to happen  Your safe period begins at around 3 days after your ovulations period and until your period begins.

If a woman’s cycle is irregular, these methods may not be an effective form of family planning. It is best for the couple to take other precautions to avoid pregnancy. This is to say that the natural method is not as reliable as other means of contraception, however it is less invasive and lets the couple enjoy the act without any barriers.  And for those who prefer the natural means of contraception, it is just important for you to know your safe period and pregnancy would not have to be a concern for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
Is it safe for me to take half a zopiclone tablet just to get some sleep at 39 weeks & 5 days pregnant?
i’ve got a buggar of a cough that only seems to kick in when i settle down at night, when i sit up it doesnt affect me & i cant sleep sitting up so for the last few nights i’ve not had much sleep! is it ok, to take half a 7.5mg zopiclone? also where i’ve been coughing, my stomach muscles are killing me, movements are painful, any tips?

    • ANSWER:
No! Take some honey and lemon or (this is a good recipe for cough mixture) – honey and vinegar. It’ll help your cough and won’t harm the baby.
Use a hot water bottle (not too hot) or something similar to apply heat to the muscles that are hurting.
Take a warm bath and have a milky drink before bedtime to help you sleep.
Poor you – not much longer, hang on in there and look forward to a healthy baby.

  2. QUESTION:
Is it normal not to feel pregnant or have any symptoms at 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant?
I haven’t had really no symptoms, is this normal? Is something wrong? I am getting pretty nervous. Is it normal not to feel pregnant or have any symptoms at 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant?

Also is it safe to sleep on my stomach during first trimester?

    • ANSWER:
This is VERY normal. Some people don’t feel pregnant until way later. Nothing is wrong unless you’re having severe cramping and bleeding (mild cramping is normal if you’re feeling that, it’s your uterus stretching). You can sleep on your stomach for now, but it’s not recommended (it won’t hurt baby if you do sleep on your stomach right now, though). Sleeping on your left side is the best position, as it provides a lot of oxygen to the baby that way.

    • ANSWER:
that far along i think you should probably avoid it. they say you’ll feel it when it’s not good anymore… so even if it takes a few minutes for you to get uncomfortable – you are, so i would say not to do it anymore. you can make yourself comfortable for short amounts of time by using pillows above and below your belly to make a little hole for it… but i would not recommend taking naps or sleeping like that.

  4. QUESTION:
Im 6 days pregnant and did not use morning afters but i still want to get rid of it am i safe to do it?

    • ANSWER:

  5. QUESTION:
how much small glasses of coke is safe to drink a day when pregnant ?
    i am 6 weeks pregnant
and before i got pregnant, i drank coke all day everyday so its hard for me not to drink any, but i have been really good, just wondering how much is safe ?
i also read on a wesite that no more than 6 a day or two cups of coffee, but i thought that was a bit much ?

    • ANSWER:
As far as the caffeine is concerned, that’s right. about 2 cups of coffee or the equivalent (Coke Classic has about 34mg of caffeine, compared to 115-175mg in a cup of coffee made at home).

As far as the sugar is concerned though, 6 cokes a day would be too much. Hopefully you’re not up to that level, but a couple a day is ok.
