QUESTION:
Question about getting pregnant while on birth control?
Well I was just thinking, I've been on birth control for a while now, about a year maybe a little more or less. I'm on Loestrin 24 Fe and the last two months I haven't gotten my "period" at all. My boyfriend and I have sex almost every day with no other protection. I was just wondering how I would know or suspect I was pregnant if that were to happen since I already don't expect to have a period, since that's usually the first thing that makes a woman suspect right?-
ANSWER:
I guess the first hint would be if you are supposed to get a period and you don't then you should take a test. If you don't get periods at all while on birth control, then it will make it a lot more difficult to pick up especially if you are one of the lucky ones who don't have any symptoms of pregnancy.I suppose if you begin to feel nausea, or more tired than normal or experience more bloating than normal you may consider taking a test. But to be honest if you take your BC properly then the chances of you being pregnant are pretty low.
Good luck!

QUESTION:
I'm going to the doctor next month to get one birth control and am thinking about the ring. Has anyone tried?
I have a 2 month old and am going to the doctor the first week of September to get one birth control(they couldn't get me in any earlier). I have a 3 yr old also, am and not sure whether I want more children or not, but want to go back to school for my LPN which I'll be doing in April of 2012.
Anyhow, I've been on the pill before, but have forgotten to take it a lot, which before wasn't a big deal since I knew I wanted at least 2 children, but this time around I want to make sure I'm not going to be getting pregnant, well as sure as you can be with birth control that is.
I' thinking about getting the ring but am wondering about who else has used it and whether or not they liked it. Plus, since you leave it in all the time until the week of your period, can you not feel it when you're having sex? Can your partner feel it? These are just a couple of the things I'm worried about. Please tell me the pros and cons you have experienced, or even if you know someone personally who has.
I've also tried the Mirena before, but didn't like it since me and my husband would both feel it during sex; I liked the other things about it, but(maybe too much info), what's the point of having sex if it is uncomfortable for you and your husband?
I've been using condoms and some vaginal suppositories I got at Walmart until I can get on something...
Thanks in advance and sorry that the question is so long
Yeah I've thought about the shot, but I am wanting to loose the weight I gained during pregnancy, and I'm afraid I'd gain weight on the shot lol
Thank you both...
I've also considered the implanton I believe it's called-the thing they put in your arm. I think I would like to have one more child someday, but want to get my nursing career on track before that time...-

QUESTION:
Why am I still scared of getting pregnant even while using birth control?
I'm getting married this weekend and I'm losing my virginity saturday night. I've been taking the pill for a solid month now, always at the same time, except for one night when I was an hour late, and another night where I was 3 hours late. I know that the pill is not 100% effective, so all I can think about is getting pregnant. I don't want to use a condom all the time. I'll be married. Just tell my I'm freaking out over nothing please.-
ANSWER:
You cant control what God has planned. If you use it right and God wants you to have a child there is nothing you can do or use to change that. He is not going to put you in anything you can't handle
